What is a racing bike? A racing bike is the combination of years of experiments in making man and bicycle go as fast as possible. It's a road going machine with as little about it as possible so you can still ride it. Here at Brixton Cycles there are a few of us who have a close affinity with this kind of bike. The stripped down'ness of a racing bike is what I like. No extra clutter. No concession to practicality.

 

Buy one if you want to glide through the countryside, hedgerows buzzing at eye level, the smell of cut grass and fresh wet roads filling your lungs and the city disappearing behind you.
